Getting Started
Q: What do I need to start using Market Understand Trading? A: Just an iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 or later. Download the app from the App Store, create an account, and you can start journaling trades immediately. No broker connection required—this works with any broker or trading platform.
Q: Do I need to connect my brokerage account? A: No. Market Understand Trading doesn't connect to brokers. You manually log your trades (which is better for learning anyway) and can attach screenshots of charts or broker confirmations. This keeps your broker login credentials completely secure.
Q: How long does it take to learn the app? A: Most traders are journaling their first trade within 5 minutes. The interface is intuitive, and we include helpful tooltips throughout. For advanced features like the Strategy Builder, there's a learning curve, but we provide in-app tutorials and blog guides.
AI & Technology
Q: How does the AI chart analysis work? A: Upload a chart screenshot (from TradingView, your broker, anywhere), and our machine learning model analyzes it for patterns, trends, support/resistance levels, and more. The AI was trained on thousands of chart patterns and can identify setups faster than manual analysis.
Q: Is the AI giving me trading advice? A: No. The AI provides analysis and pattern recognition, not trading advice. It shows you what it sees in the chart and historical patterns that match, but all trading decisions are yours. Think of it as a powerful analysis tool, not a signal service.
Q: How accurate is the AI's pattern recognition? A: Our ML models are trained on extensive historical data and are constantly improving. However, no AI (or human) can predict the market with 100% accuracy. The AI helps you spot patterns and possibilities—you still need sound risk management and trading discipline.
Q: What kind of feedback does the AI provide on my trades? A: After logging a trade's outcome, the AI analyzes factors like: Did you follow your plan? Was your risk-reward appropriate? How did this compare to similar past trades? Were there warning signs you missed? The feedback is specific to your trade and designed to help you improve.

Privacy & Security
Q: Is my trading data secure? A: Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Your trades and strategies are stored securely on our servers, and we never share your personal trading data with third parties.
Q: Can other users see my trades? A: Only if you explicitly choose to share them in the community forums. By default, all your trades, journals, and strategies are completely private. You control what, if anything, you want to share with other traders.
]Q: What happens to my data if I cancel? A: You can export all your data anytime (as CSV or JSON). If you cancel, we keep your data for 90 days in case you return. After 90 days, we permanently delete it per our privacy policy. You can request immediate deletion at any time.

Pricing & Subscription
Q: Is there a free trial? A: Yes! All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You get full access to Premium or Pro features during the trial. No credit card required to start—you'll only be charged if you decide to continue after the trial ends.
Q: Can I cancel anytime? A: Absolutely. Cancel your subscription anytime from the app settings or by contacting support. If you cancel within 30 days and aren't satisfied, we'll refund your first payment, no questions asked.
Q: What payment methods do you accept? A: We process payments through the App Store, so any payment method linked to your Apple ID works (credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, App Store gift cards).
Q: Do you offer discounts for annual plans? A: Yes! Annual plans save you 17% compared to paying monthly. That's like getting 2 months free. We also occasionally offer promotions—follow us on social media for updates.

Features & Usage
Q: Can I import trades from my broker? A: Currently, you manually enter trades (or use our quick-add feature with screenshots). We're working on broker integrations for the future, but manual entry is actually beneficial—it forces you to review and reflect on each trade, which improves learning.
Q: Does this work for stocks, forex, crypto, futures? A: Yes! The app works with any market or instrument. Whether you trade stocks, options, forex pairs, crypto, futures, or anything else, the journaling and analysis features apply equally.
Q: Can I use this for paper trading? A: Definitely. Many users start with paper trading to learn the app and test strategies. Just mark trades as "paper" vs "live" in your journal so you can track them separately.
Q: Do you have a web version or is it mobile-only? A: Currently iOS-only (iPhone and iPad). We chose to focus on making the best possible mobile experience first. A web version is on our roadmap based on user demand.

Support & Community
Q: How do I get help if I'm stuck? A: Multiple ways: in-app help center, email newssearchai@yahoo.com community forums (where other traders might have answers), and our blog has detailed how-to guides. Premium and Pro users get priority support responses.
Q: Can I suggest new features? A: Please do! We actively listen to our trading community. Use the "Feature Request" option in the app or email us. Many of our best features came from user suggestions.
Q: Are there community rules I should know? A: Yes. Be respectful, no spam or promotional posts, no sharing of pirated content, and no guaranteed profit claims. We want a supportive community focused on real improvement, not hype. Full community guidelines are in the app.
